based company that focuses on providing unique and hard to find Nubian Inspired gifts.
The products on our website are not commonly found in your high street stores and some are even originals designed and produced for you with you in mind.
You will notice that the majority of our products are for children/young people as we have first hand experience of the reality that there are limited gifts for Nubian children.
We have found that most toys, games and gifts are ‘Eurocentric’, focussing on the ‘European’, which doesn’t promote or encourage self awareness or self pride within a Nubian child. Instead it creates illusions of beauty, success and life aspirations…
The games children play and the playthings they use in play are often the foundations which provide a way for children to practice and develop skills needed as adults.
There are many of us who recognise this and are willing to challenge the status quo; however, we need to begin this process within our own families, at home.
